LEVEL 6 FTDs
Available to all enrolled training students. Sim time counts toward your Part 141 certificate at 20–25% of aircraft wet rates. Hangar B, Fort Lauderdale Executive.

Part 141 Credit

Under Part 141, approved simulator time may substitute for a portion of required flight training hours. At KFXE, all 25 FTDs are FAA-approved for Part 141 credit. Typical sim-to-aircraft substitution rate is 20–25% of required flight time per certificate or rating.

Apex Jet Academy
LEVEL D
FULL-MOTION.
Five Level D full-motion simulators exclusively for Apex Jet Academy type rating programs. Used only for maneuvers that cannot safely be performed in the actual aircraft — V1 cuts, high-altitude stall recoveries, and catastrophic system failures. All other type rating training uses real aircraft.
